As co-founder and account strategy lead, Kevin ties in key skills and experience from both the agency and client sides of the industry to develop highly targeted and effective mobile communications for all of Vert’s clients. After stints at traditional agencies (Arras Group, Initiative Media), Kevin’s early career was spent managing accounts, new business, and mobile for brands like AutoTrader.com, InterContinental Hotels, Disney, and Home Depot at Nurun Ant Farm Interactive. This eventually led to his most recent client-side gig as Marketing Manager of Zipcar Atlanta where Kevin helped launch a challenging car-sharing market into profitability with triple digit growth in both membership and revenue in under two years. This strong business foundation, combined with his mobile background and instincts ultimately drives Kevin’s day-to-day account strategy functions with Vert.

Michael Lentz is responsible for overseeing mobile media planning and strategy for Vert’s clients. Prior to co-founding Vert Mobile, Michael led new business research for a global interactive communications agency and executed dozens of online and social media campaigns for clients including One Laptop per Child, Equifax, Havertys Furniture, West Elm, and NADAguides. A graduate of the University of Georgia’s New Media Institute, Michael was selected as a Mobile Media Scholar where he conceptualized and developed a mobile marketing platform that distributed custom content and streaming video from local establishments to cell phone subscribers utilizing SMS text messages. Mr. Lentz’s passion for emerging media technology and experience with both brand and performance marketing strategies will ultimately help your brand get noticed on the mobile web.

Matt Griffin started working with new media in 2002 at the University of Georgia’s New Media Institute. As a Management Information Systems major at UGA he was able to bring in his technical and programming knowledge to find new innovative ways to use technology for media. He specializes in strategizing mobile and social media campaigns based on the available platform technology. In 2005 Matt joined the mobile media scholars program at UGA where his focus turned to finding creative uses for mobile devices. After graduation he continued on at UGA pursuing his masters in mass communication with a emphasis on creative mobile technologies. During the past two years he has been the technology director of two major mobile events, spoken at a number of conferences on mobile innovation and holds 3 patents concerning mobile phones, RFID, Bluetooth and SMS technologies. Matt is currently in his last semester at UGA finalizing his thesis on the topic of using mobile phone video for public health.
