Vert partnered with the New Media Institute, an interdisciplinary unit of the prestigious Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia, in early 2009. The New Media Institute is not only a key partner to Vert Mobile, but also the incubator which ultimately planted the seeds for its growth. Vert Mobile and the NMI work together to create a thriving environment where education meets profession in which student excellence is harnessed to make a real world impact.
Vert partnered with the Atlanta INtown paper in Q1 of 2009. Atlanta INtown is a monthly newspaper dedicated to publishing news and stories that help build and nurture a sense of community. Atlanta INtown publishes more than 43,000 copies each month that are distributed to neighborhoods inside the Perimeter including Buckhead, Brookhaven, Atlantic Station, Sandy Springs, Midtown, Virginia Highland and more. Vert is currently working with Atlanta INtown advising their strategies for using both social and mobile media.
